I know I have been slacking on posting lately but with Easter and the end of the semester looming I have been really busy.
I have won a few giveaways lately and I can't wait to receive them and share them with Violet. I am most excited about my recent win on Familylicous. I won Mary's Soft Dough from Terrapin Toys. Should be a fun activity for us to do one afternoon.
I will get back to blogging as soon as the semester is over. After the summer semester I will officially be a librarian!

May I ask a couple of questions about your degree? Do you have a degree in anything else? I'm a teacher & most librarians I know were teachers (are teachers) first. Also, how long did it take to get your degree? Is it a long program? Just curious. I've always thought that would be the best job!
Congrats on almost being a librarian! Grad school takes a lot of work (I have no plans of ever doing it myself, but my hubby is almost done with his doctorate, so I've seen what it takes!) And the world needs as many good librarians as possible!
Heidi - My undergrad degree was in business management. I would say a majority of the people in my program are teachers going back to get their master's in LIS to become librarians. It took me 5 years but that was because I only took 1 class a semester and I took the summers off. Most people finish way before that.
The program is actually very interesting and half the classes were actually fun as well as informative.
Maman - thanks, I definitely think more good librarians are needed...especially to change the stereotype that all librarians are mean and boring :)
